Shirl’s Mittlets are form fitting and great to learn how to knit in the round and knit cables. Learn to use double points and how to cable on these lovely fingerless mitts.

Supplies: 

  • Shirl's Mittlets Pattern purchased from Ravelry (click here to visit the Ravelry page)
  • For DK yarn
    • 220 - 250 yards
    • US 3 double pointed needles
  • For Worsted yarn
    • 2
    • US 6 double pointed needles

Skills Required:

Cast on, knit, and purl.

Skills Learned:

Joining in the round, how to use a cable needle and work cable stitches, and binding off.

Class Size: 6 students maximum, 2 students minimum.  If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
