About Us

Here at Needles in the Haymarket, our mission is to keep the fiber and needle crafts alive and growing in the modern world.  Our staff is passionate about their crafts and look forward to helping you.

Located on the fringe of the bustling Northern Virginia region, we welcome any and all crafters.  We specialize in knitting, crochet, spinning, needlepoint, and cross-stitch.  For yarn crafters, we carry a variety of yarns, from workhorse easy-care yarns to luxury hand-dyed yarn and exotic fibers and everything in between.  For those interested in making their own yarns or producing felted pieces, we carry an array of unspun fibers, both natural and hand-dyed.  For our needle-art enthusiasts, we carry a variety of threads including DMC as well as many over-dyed threads and specialty threads.  We also carry many canvases and varieties of cross-stitch fabrics.

In addition to these crafting supplies, we carry a multitude of accessories from essentials such as stitch markers and scissors, to fun coffee mugs and tote bags.  We have a little bit of something for the crafter in everyone.  Please come stop by, browse our shop and enjoy!
