Ranunculus Sweater
The Ranunculus is one of the most popular and unique designs on Ravelry. This sweater can be made in any weight yarn from fingering weight to bulky. Sizing for this sweater is up to you. Most knitters have made this to be a very oversized sweater but that is up to you. Come join us as we explore the many options available with this design.

Supplies:
The yarn for this sweater will be discussed in the first class. (I will show you how different weights will effect the overall gauge and style of stockinette knit stitch on a size 10 needle)
US 10 (6mm) circular needle 29-32 inch
US 10 (6mm) set of double points
US 8 (5mm) circular needle
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn, crochet hook (for the smaller neckline)
Skills Required:
Students need to be comfortable knitting and purling, working in the round, knit in the back of the stitch, knitting on double pointed needles, K2 tog. and binding off
Skills Learned:
lifted increase, knit front and back of stitch, knit in back and front of stitch, slip slip knit, German short rows, Double-Twist loop cast on or tubular cast on (both will be taught and shown with the aid of a video) I-Cord bind off
