Now that you know basic crochet stitches let's try crocheting a sweater. You can do it! In this workshop you will learn simple sweater construction basics, especially raglan (top down) sweater construction.  All you need is worsted weight #4 yarn(1125-1625 yds) or #5 chunky yarn (950-1125 yds), stitch markers, measuring tape and an appropriate size hook(sizes H-K are fine).  Advanced Beginner or have taken Next Level Beginning Crochet. 

After taking this class, students will learn shaping through increasing and decreasing stitches and different forms of crochet ribbing needed for making a sweater. 

Instructor:  Rhonda Reese

1 - Three hours session

Supplies:

1125 - 1625 yards of worsted weight (#4) yarn or 950 - 1125 of chunky weight (#5) yarn

Stitch markers, measuring tape, and appropriate size hook (sizes H-K, depending on yarn and desired fabric drape).

Skills Required:

Must be an advanced beginner or have taken the Next Level Beginning Crochet.

Class Size:  5 students maximum.
