Mommy and Me Amigurumi Workshop with Chelsi

Learn the art of amigurumi in this beginner-friendly Mommy and Me crochet class where you and your little one will create your own matching adorable plush from start to finish. Mom & little ones will be guided through essential techniques including working in the round, shaping, and assembling. All materials are included, just come ready to learn and  leave with a handmade creation! Knowledge of basic stitches are recommended but not required. 

Instructor: Chelsi McDonald

1 - Two hour long session

Supplies:  All supplies are included.  If students would like to bring their own supplies, they will need to bring:  stitch marker, crochet hook, tapestry needle, small embroidery scissors, safety eyes, polyfil/stuffing

Skills Required:  none, recommended to already have an understanding of basic stitches.

Skills Learned:  Learning how to crochet in continuous rounds, counting rows, reading patterns in US terms, learning crochet abbreviations, fastening off

Homework: None

Class Size: 9 students maximum, 3 students minimum.  If the 3 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
