Marla

Marla is made from 2 strands of lighter-weight yarn that have been dyed separately and then plied together. When worked, Marla creates a marled fabric, where the colors are uniquely distributed.

The resulting marled yarn can be high-contrast tweedy, or more subtly Tonal, or even have some of each in the same colorway. 

The Marla palette is connected directly to the Sami palette - they coordinate with each other to make gorgeous color pairings!

Composition: 100% superwash merino

100 g = 273 yards (250 m)

Suggested Gauge: 20 - 23 sts = 4” on size US 4 - 6 (3.5 - 4 mm)

Suggested Care: Machine wash or hand wash in cool water. Dry flat.

*Please note:  Manos del Uruguay produces wonderful hand-dyed yarns. However, there is variation batch-to-batch and even skein-to-skein in hand-dyed yarns. Pictures are representative of colors, but may appear different than the final delivered product. Finally, we recommend that for any multi-skein project, you buy all the yarn you will need for that project at once to ensure consistency.*
