Learn to Knit

In this class you will learn to Cast On, Knit, Purl, and Bind off. We will also learn knitting terms, yarn types, and how to read a yarn label.

Instructor: Linda Shields

2 - One and a half hour sessions

Supplies: 1 skein of a light colored worsted weight yarn 1 pair of size 7 or 8 needles

Skills required: None! This class is designed for the first time knitter or for those who need to be refreshed after years of not knitting.

Class Size: 4 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
