Introduction to Crochet (1st Class in the Learn to Crochet Series)

Want to learn how to crochet?  In this class you will learn how to hold the crochet hook and yarn, plus some basic stitches such as the chain and single crochet stitch. 

 After taking this class, the student will have learned how to read a yarn label, understand crochet hook and yarn weight differences. The student will also be able to identify the front and back of a chain stitch and know how to count stitches accurately. Class is taught by a Craft Yarn Council Certified Teacher and Instructor.

Instructor: Rhonda Reese

One 2-hour session

Supplies: *The instructor will bring yarn and hooks for students to try during class.  Students are encouraged to sample different hooks and yarn during class to find what works best for them.  Students may then purchase their own hook and yarn for practicing at home after class.*
