Do you wonder what to do with the tails of yarn while knitting? Do you want to learn how to seam a project together? Learn how to weave in the ends of your yarn within your knitting project. We will learn how to seam the swatches together with mattress stitch then we'll finish by weaving in the ends for each style of swatch.

Instructor: Laura Call

1 - Two-hour session

Supplies: 5 homework swatches, note-taking supplies, tapestry needle, and scissors.

Skills Required: Basic knitting skills.

Skills Learned: Weaving in ends in stockinette, garter stitch, and ribbing. How to do the mattress stitch in stockinette and garter stitch.

Homework: Please come to class with 5 - four-inch swatches (1 done in k2, p2 ribbing; 2 in stockinette stitch, 2 in garter stitch), leave long 10-inch tails at the beginning and end of each swatch. Swatches should be worked in light colored, worsted weight yarn.

Class Size: 6 students maximum.
