Cabled Fingerless Mitt
Fingerless mitts are fun to wear and very practical. This fingerless mitt designed by Staci Perry is very pretty as well. It can be knitted in a DK or sport weight yarn. This is a great project for the advanced beginner or intermediate knitter.

Supplies:
Download or print Staci Perry's Cabled Fingerless Mitt pattern,100 gr. skein of a Sport or DK weight yarn (approximately 250 yds), 4 ring markers, cable needle, tapestry needle, scrap yarn, Size US 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles (or size needed for gauge 6.5 stitches per inch).
Most of this pattern can be worked in Magic Loop (requires a 31" size 3 needle) or on a 9" circular needle.
Skills Required: Knitting, Purling, Cast on, Bind off, some experience knitting on double pointed needles.
Skills Learned: making a cable, M1Right and M1Left increase, reading and knitting from a graph.
Homework: Have yarn and needles and pattern purchased in advance of the class.
Class Size: 5 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
