Learn the art of amigurumi in this beginner-friendly crochet class where you’ll create your own adorable plush from start to finish. Students will be guided through essential techniques including working in the round, shaping, and assembling. All materials are included, just come ready to learn and leave with a handmade creation! Knowledge of basic stitches are recommended but not required.

Instructor: Chelsi McDonald

1 - Two and a half hour long session

Supplies:  All supplies are included.  If students would like to bring their own supplies, they will need to bring:  stitch marker, crochet hook, tapestry needle, small embroidery scissors, safety eyes, polyfil/stuffing

Skills Required:  none, recommended to already have an understanding of basic stitches.

Skills Learned:  Learning how to crochet in continuous rounds, counting rows, reading patterns in US terms, learning crochet abbreviations, fastening off

Homework: None

Class Size: 9 students maximum, 3 students minimum.  If the 3 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
