This class will introduce students to the wonderful world of weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Students will make a lovely wool scarf while learning basic weaving techniques and skills.

Instructor: Connie Diamant

4 sessions, 3 hours each (a total of 12 hours)

Supplies: Rigid heddle loom with an 8 dent reed (7.5 dpi works as well, standard for the Ashford 24" rigid heddle loom), 2 skeins of Plymouth Galway worsted weight (2 colors- 1 skeins per color); scissors; stick shuttle; pen/pencil for notes, and 3 paper grocery bags.

*Loaner looms are available for use from Needles in the Haymarket. Students will have the opportunity to purchase their loaner loom if they desire after class at a 10% discount (Ashford 24" rigid heddle loom, regular price $299, student price $269.10).
