Deconstructing Portuguese Knitting
Discover the rhythm and efficiency of Portuguese knitting in this two-part workshop designed to demystify this unique and ergonomic style of knitting. Whether you're brand new to the technique or looking to refine your skills, this class breaks it all down—literally.
Session 1 focuses on the core mechanics: you'll learn how to tension yarn using a knitting pin, master the distinct finger movements, and build a strong foundation for knit and purl stitches the Portuguese way.
Session 2 dives into color work, exploring how to seamlessly incorporate multiple colors while maintaining even tension and clean transitions. By the end, you'll have a whole new set of skills—and perhaps a new favorite knitting style.
