
Basic Raglan Pullover
This basic raglan sweater designed by Joji Locatelli is a perfect sweater for your first knitted sweater or your 21st knitted sweater. It is knitted top down with short rows added to insure a nice rounded crew neck. The pattern is written in sizes from XS to 4XL with a 2 inch ease. This sweater is designed for an advanced beginner to an intermediate knitter.

Supplies:
US 6 (4 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) needles 24" long.
DK weight yarn - 880-1750 yds. based on your desired size, Stitches markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle

Skills Required:
Ability to knit, purl, cast on, bind off. Must understand how to make a gauge swatch.

Homework:
Purchase pattern, and all supplies before class. Make a gauge swatch with the yarn and needles you intend to use and bring it to the first class. The gauge for this project is 21 sts. x 32 rounds = 4 inches in Stockinette St on US 6 (4 mm) needles. A gauge swatch for this pattern is very important.
Class Size: 5 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
