A SABAI Top Knit-a-long with Marti!

The SABAI Top by Susanne Müller (Paulastrickt) is a beautiful sleeveless top that's consistently in Ravelry's Hot Right Now. The best part is that there's no seaming. Marti will be hosting an in-house knit-a-long starting in August. Though this isn't a class, Marti will provide some instruction and pattern support at the beginning of some of the sessions. Registration is free but we do ask that you purchase your yarn at Needles in the Haymarket.  There will not be a class discount for supplies for this knit-a-long, since registration is free.

4 - One and a half hour sessions

Supplies:

200 - 400g of DK weight yarn (purchased at Needles in the Haymarket)

Suggested yarns - Rowan Cotton Cashmere, Universal Yarns Dunescape, Rowan Creative Linen, Rowan Cotton Revive, Rowan Denim Revive, Berroco Pima Soft, Berroco Tillie, The Fibre Company Luma, Malabrigo Verano

Size 6 (4mm) 24" - 32" circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)

SABAI Top pattern (may be purchased at Needles in the Haymarket or from Ravelry)

Stitch markers

Skills required: Students need to be comfortable with knit, purl, m1L, and m1R.

Skills learned: Students will learn how to construct the beautiful SABAI Top with no seaming and finishing techniques as you go.

Homework: Make a gauge swatch using appropriate needles to achieve 20sts/28 rows per 4" swatch. Wash, block, and bring your swatch to the first session.

Class Size: 10 students maximum, 5 students minimum.  If the 5 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
