Learn to Spin Using a Drop Spindle (Saturday, October 7th 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

Curious about spinning? Come try it out using a drop spindle! You will learn how to create a leader, draft fiber, and use a drop spindle to create your own yarn. Bring your own spindle & fiber or purchase your supplies at the shop. Instructor: Susan Lopez Skills Learned: Distinguish "top" from "roving", become familiar with basic spinning terms and equipment, create a leader, draft fiber, and use a drop spindle to create your own yarn. One 3-hour session: Saturday, October 7th 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Supplies Required: Drop spindle and fiber. Class Size: 6 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date. This class is "mask optional".
