This top down raglan sweater is the perfect beginner sweater. It is sized from 0-6 months to 6XL. Store model is size large and knit in Malabrigo Rios. For Sizes: 0-6 mo (6-12 mo, 1-2 yrs, 2-4 yrs, 4-6 yrs, 6-8 yrs, 8-10 yrs, XS, S, S/M, M, M/L, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL). Stitch markers, Download Flax by Tin Can Knits from Ravelry, Yarn/darning needle Skills Required: Ability to knit and purl, cast on and bind off, experience working in the round. Skills Learned: Swatching and gauge, learn to read a sweater pattern instructions, increases and decreases, German short rows (If you decide to use them), magic loop, picking up stitches. Homework: Please prepare a gauge swatch as follows and bring to first class. With larger needles and working yarn, cast on 26 stitches, Knit 4 rows, Row 5 - K2, p22, K2, Row 6 K all stitches, repeat Row 5 and Row 6 for 28 rows, Knit 4 rows. Do not bind off. Gauge: 18 sts. and 22 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles. Class Size: 5 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date. This class is "mask optional".
