Learn the art of cable knitting while making this gorgeous hat by Wool & Pine. We will take you through chart reading, cabling, shaping, and more. Instructor: Marlene Graves 1 - Two hour session: Saturday, December 2nd, (10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) Supplies: Deep Winter Hat pattern by Wool & Pine, DK weight yarn - 150 - 220 yards (depending on size knit), US #5 & #8 16 inch circular needles or size to achieve gauge, and stitch markers. Skills Required: Cast on, knit, purl, increase and decrease and comfortably knit in the round. Skills Learned: Cabling, chart reading, and shaping. Homework: Please work the ribbed portion of the hat to be ready to work the cable portion in class. Class Size: 5 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date. This class is "mask optional".
