
Introduction to Knitting (Saturdays, September 2nd and 9th, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
In this class you will learn to Cast On, Knit, Purl, and Bind off. We will also learn knitting terms, basic yarn types, and how to read a yarn label.

2- One and a half hour sessions: Saturdays, September 2nd and 9th, (10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
Supplies:
1 skein of a light colored worsted weight yarn.
1 pair of size 7 or 8 needles (straight wooden needles preferred).
How To Knit Book by TNNA (recommended but optional).
Skills required: None! This class is designed for the first time knitter or for those who need to be refreshed after years of not knitting.
Class Size: 5 students maximum, 2 students minimum. If the 2 student minimum is not met, Needles in the Haymarket can either refund the class or move the student to a class scheduled at a later date.
This class is "mask optional".
